EMIL ORDUKHANYAN<\/strong> was born on January 20, 1985 in Yerevan. In 1991-2001 he studied at the Yerevan Secondary School N 119 named after B. Zhamkochyan. In 2001-2006 he continued his studies at the faculties of Foreign Languages, and then Linguistics and Intercultural Communication at the Yerevan State Linguistic University. after V. Brusov. After graduating with honors, he continued his postgraduate studies at the same university by specializing in Romance Languages: French. At the same time, he studied as PhD student at the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia by specializing in Political Science: Political Institutions and Political Processes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In 2009, he defended his dissertation entitled “Political Discourse Analysis of Authorities and Opposition (on the example of the Republic of Armenia)” and obtained a PhD degree in political sciences, specializing in “Political institutions and political processes.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2016, he obtained an academic title of Associate Professor from the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Armenia in the field of Political Science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2007 he has been teaching at the Brusov State University: first at the Department of French, and since 2012 also at the UNESCO Chair on Human Rights, Democracy and Political Science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2009-2014 he worked as an academic secretary at the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. From 2010 to 2011 he was the scientific secretary of the specialized council 062 of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Armenia on “Sociology and Political Science”, operating at the institute. Since 2014, he has been working at the institute as a senior researcher in the Department of Political Science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2012, he has been teaching at the Seminary of the Mkhitarist Congregation as a teacher of social sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2009-2010, 2011-2013, 2015-2016 he also taught as an assistant professor at the Departments of Political Science and History of Law, then Sociology and Social Work of the Yerevan State Pedagogical University after. Kh. Abovyan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2012-2020 he also taught at the Faculty of International Relations of Yerevan State University as a lecturer, then as an assistant professor at the Department of Theory and History of Political Science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2012, he has been teaching at the Departments of Political Science and then International Relations of the International Scientific and Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the summer of 2011, he worked as a lecturer at the “School of Young Philosophers”, organized by the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2011, at a competition organized by the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia and the World Congress of Armenians, he was awarded the “Best Scientific Work of the Year” in the field of “Sociology”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2013, he was awarded a Diploma for active work in the system of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2014, he founded the Armenian Political Science Website: www.armpolsci.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has been a member of the American MPSA (Midwest Political Science Association)<\/a> since 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2016-2021 he was a member of the International Political Science Association (IPSA)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2017, he has been an expert of the Network of European Citizenship Education (Germany), as well as a member of EENCE (Eastern European Network for Citizenship Education, Germany<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2019, he was elected as Associate Professor of BSU. He is a board member of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Service, as well as a member of the Academic Board of Brusov State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2020, he was elected as a reviewer for the “International Journal of Political Science and International Relations<\/a>“, published in the United States. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has participated to dozens of republican and international conferences in Armenia and abroad: France, Germany, Poland, Norway, Great Britain, Russia, Georgia, USA, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is an author of eight monographs (six co-authored), two textbooks (one co-authored), more than forty scientific articles in Armenian, Russian, English, French and Polish, published in Armenian and foreign scientific journals and periodicals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
