PEER REVIEWING
At The POLITNOMOS, we are dedicated to ensuring the highest academic standards through a transparent and rigorous peer review process. To achieve this, all submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process.
Initial Screening
Upon submission, each manuscript is reviewed by the editorial team to ensure it aligns with the journal’s aims and scope and meets basic formatting and ethical standards.
Assignment to Reviewers
Manuscripts passing the initial review are assigned to the independent reviewers with expertise in the subject matter. The reviewers assess the manuscript’s academic quality, originality, and contribution to the field.
Double-Blind Review
Both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process to ensure fairness and objectivity.
Evaluation Criteria
Reviewers assess submissions based on the following key criteria:
- Scientific Value: The manuscript’s contribution to the field.
- Originality: The degree of originality and independence of the research.
- Methodology: Clarity and adequacy of the research methods.
- Findings and Analysis: The significance of the findings and the depth of analysis.
- Structure and Clarity: The logical flow and clarity of the manuscript.

Decision by the Editorial Board
The final decision, based on reviewers’ feedback and recommendations, is made by the editorial board. Authors are then notified of the decision and, if necessary, are given the opportunity to revise and resubmit their manuscripts.
Revisions and Final Approval
Authors are given the opportunity to address reviewers’ comments and make necessary revisions. The revised versions are re-evaluated, and once approved, they proceed to publication.
We strive to complete the peer review process within (e.g., 4-5 weeks) to ensure timely publication while upholding rigorous standards.
The peer review process adheres to the ethical guidelines outlined by COPE to ensure transparency, fairness, and integrity in every stage.
